Set 70 - I’m considering supplementing my income

Jack: I’m struggling to cover college expenses. And I’m considering supplementing my income by getting some kind of part-time work.

Sally: Brilliant idea! It will be great if you can manage to find a job that is relevant to your ongoing studies. Studying and then properly implementing what you’ve learned will aid you a lot in your future career. Plus, you will make smart connections with people working in the same industry as you.

Jack: Of course, I’m trying to work in the same domain as my major. But I’m afraid that my commitment to my job may interfere with my learning performance which is my number one priority. Work can also rob me of my relaxation time. You know we need to recharge our batteries to function properly.

Sally: Undoubtedly! Unless you are able to handle the stress, you’ll end up burned out.

Jack: Well; I’d better get my act together and get into gear. I clearly have to fire on all cylinders to keep moving forward.

Sally: Best of luck!
