College essays that made a difference - Princeton Review 2010

Editor’s note

Though it goes without saying, don’t plagiarize the essays in this book. Your response must be in your own words. We encourage you to note words, structures, and themes that you really like, but do not copy phrases, whole sentences, or paragraphs. If you’re caught plagiarizing you won’t get into college at all. It’s just wrong.
