Chapter 2 - Adjectives
Sound symbols

Adjectives, which describe and classify, are the most important class of words that modify nouns. One of their positions is just before the noun; if a noun determiner is present, it precedes the adjective.

an old man

that big house

pretty children

a lot of interesting books

some good apples
