Capitalization

Use initial capitals with computer commands, functions, or features.

The words internet and web are not capitalized.

The word email takes a lowercase letter unless it is starting a sentence.

Although email is no longer hyphenated, because it has become a commonly used word, newer compounds that start with “e-” retain the hyphen. In such words, the “e” is considered a prefix, and only the noun should be capitalized in a heading or at the start of a sentence.
