The writing section

Each essay is intended to give you an opportunity to demonstrate your writing skills. You will not be expected to demonstrate any specialized knowledge in your responses.

The quality of your writing is much more important than the quantity. However, to cover the topic adequately, plan to write three to five paragraphs for each essay. Be specific and provide relevant examples that are related to the assigned topic. Do not write on another topic because an essay on another topic will not be considered. If your essay is not written in English, it will not be scored.
