Arithmetic diagnostic test
Arithmetic review

Arithmetic is the foundation for all math concepts and shares the basic properties of counting: adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Since all math is best understood through orderly stages of progressive learning, basic arithmetic review is a normal step toward building interconnected associations to help make sense of more advanced concepts. By studying arithmetic first, you will be strengthening your ability to tackle more challenging problems.

Start with the arithmetic diagnostic test and use the following chart to work through the topics. As you study the material, check off the topics and focus your attention on one math topic at a time. Then, assess your strengths to evaluate areas in which you feel you may need improvement. Even if your cumulative knowledge of math is strong, you should at least skim through each topic heading to help trigger your memory of forgotten math concepts.
