Interviewing over the telephone is a real challenge. While most interviews are held in person, sometimes you just can’t meet face-to-face.

When this happens, the telephone is the only option. The most difficult aspect of a long-distance interview is that you can’t judge the reactions of the interviewers. You have no idea if what you are saying is making them smile or frown. While there is no way to overcome the inherent disadvantage of a phone interview, here are some tips that should help to bridge the distance:
