Tables, graphs, charts, diagrams, photos, and drawings enhance technical and other informative documents. There are two ways to add these elements to a document. Some people insert them before drafting the text. Others find they can draft most effectively without these inclusions. Use what works best for you and your assignment. However, it is best not to mix drafting with inserting. Do one first, and then do the other.
