About the author

Jeff Bollow is an award-winning L.A.-born filmmaker, currently living in Sydney, Australia. With a career spanning nearly 30 years, six countries, and every facet of the film industry, Jeff has worked on feature films (from major Hollywood movies to tiny independent films), television, TV commercials, music videos, theatre, industrial films, educational projects, and documentary productions.

He is the founder of Screenplay.com.au (a resource created to help Australian screenwriters write and sell commercially-viable material), FAST Screenplay (an online screenplay development system), and New Zealand’s Big Mountain Short Film Festival. He produced and directed the ATOM Award-winning Making Fantastic Short Films educational program, co-authored a book for Apple, and has spoken at festival and industry events internationally.

Jeff aims to build an independent feature film studio capable of producing three to six films per year. The FAST System and all his screenwriting efforts have evolved out of his need for material.

His one hope is that his students will write.
