And so...
Talktation: The new art of speed writing
Apply

I absolutely love this technique. And remember how I told you I wanted to write this chapter in two hours?

Well, it’s taken me two hours and six minutes. And that included a seven minute telephone interruption. And a ten minute break, thanks to that little flashing icon on my email inbox. (I gotta learn to shut that thing off while I’m writing.)

And this from the World’s Pickiest Perfectionist!

Not bad, huh?

(Just to follow up, I’ve also spent an additional three hours on this chapter during the Strengthen and Tweak phases. And I’ll also readily admit that this was the most quickly-written chapter in the whole book. Just goes to show ya. Excitement has a way of energizing your work.)

Talktation is the key to taking your Focus Plan, and getting it on the page as quickly as possible. It’s a simple conceptual technique you can start mastering with the very next words you write.

In the next chapter, we’ll look at what to do with that overflowing brain of yours, and how to keep yourself focused. Because even Talktation can’t keep that Factory from pumping out ideas.

And then in the following chapter, I’ll show you how to apply Talktation to your Focus Plan and “ride the wave” to the finish line.

Writing has never been this fun. Wouldn’t you agree?
