Ten tips for high-scoring research papers
The parts of ten

Professors read hundreds of research papers early in their careers and thousands of papers later in their careers. At any point in that time, all professors look forward to reading interesting topics with interesting approaches.

In addition to choosing an interesting topic, approach it with a local and global application. For example, papers that argue national use of solar power, eliminating food waste, and converting refuse into renewable energy, can also argue these topics for campus and community use.

Approach local application of these topics by analyzing need, projecting feasibility, and creating an action plan. Analyze implications economically, socially, and politically. Suggest a plan for implementation. Research local experts who would contribute to your topic. Also design a survey to assess community interest in the topic, and include the survey as a primary source in your paper.
