Capitalization

General terms that refer to a type of article or a section within an article should be set lowercase.

I strongly disagree with that editorial.

A structured abstract is required for all research papers.

However, when referring to a specific article or a section within a specific article, capitalize the first letter of the category or section name.

In this Viewpoint, the authors critique the prevalent assumption that health care expenditures are correlated with national estimates of life expectancy.
